Gators Star Receives Pitcher of the Year Award Monday, September 24th , 2063 This year, the top vote-getter for the 2063 Pitcher of the Year Award was Carlitos Laboro of the North Ft. Myers Gators, who finished with an outstanding 11-3 mark and an impressive 1.92 ERA. In his award-winning season, the 20-year-old Gators star hurled 112.2 innings, chalking up 104 strikeouts and 37 walks, and limited hitters to a .213 batting average. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jeremy Foster of the Ballard Beavers finished second in voting, while Kirby William of the Moose Jaw Canucks finished third.
