Wood Grabs 3A- Reliever of the Year Award Friday, September 24th , 2060 Leland Wood said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 21 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Moose Jaw Canucks rising star has won the M3L Low A Reliever of the Year Award for 2060. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.14 ERA over 95 innings. He also had 11 saves in 46 relief appearances, 96 strikeouts and only 26 walks. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sam Malone of the Napanee Express finished second in voting, while Lowell Nash of the Ballard Beavers finished third.
