Vance Raps 3 HR Against Gators Thursday, May 6th , 2055 Blaine Vance added his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against the North Ft. Myers Gators. But despite joining the select list of sluggers to hit three home runs in a game, it didn't guarantee a victory. The Tijuana Toros fell to the Gators, 7-6. In his big day at Dodge Field, the Tijuana shortstop went 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. "It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball. "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day."
