Free-for-All Costs de Moor and Trevino 5-Game Suspensions Sunday, June 18th , 2062 The league commissioner announced that two players had been suspended for inappropriate conduct. He told BNN, "What I'm trying to do with these penalties is say, we can't stop you from doing these things, but if you do them, you have to understand you will pay the consequences." Baseball can be an intense game and on-field confrontations happen. However, the league disciplinary policy is to punish, sometimes severely, those who decide to settle things with their fists. When Anthon de Moor of the MSL Seattle Rocketeers and Diego Trevino of the MSL Buffalo White Walkers got into a scuffle during a game, both players knew that a suspension would be forthcoming. Sure enough, today it was announced that both players will each receive a 5-game suspension for their actions in a recent game at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Thus far this year, de Moor has hit .250 with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs. Checking out his stats for the season, Trevino has notched 1 win and 1 loss in 7 starts. His ERA is 2.87 and he's struck out 28 batters in 37.2 innings. |
