Orlando Rodríguez Bashes Three over the Wall Thursday, July 20th , 2062 In a powerful performance that left the fans at MSL Boston Ballpark buzzing, MSL Hollywood Shredders second baseman Orlando Rodríguez blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 9-2, over the MSL Boston Patriots. "Everything was clicking," Rodríguez told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Rodríguez shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Shredders manager Ricardo López said. "Orlando played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Orlando Rodríguez hit a solo-shot off Tomás Erdozain in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Alfredo Sousa in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Alfredo Sousa in the 8th. Currently Rodríguez is hitting .224 and has collected 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 16 times, while playing in 32 games. |
