McGuire Takes Home PMSL Top Batter Award Thursday, September 1st , 2061 Larry McGuire is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the MSL Northern Virginia catcher joined that select company when the USPL Mexican Summer League announced the results of August's voting. McGuire totaled 17 hits, 7 walks, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored last month to put together a .486 batting average and .571 on-base percentage. In 45 games this year, McGuire has posted a .281 average and put up these numbers: 7 home runs, 30 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
