Reliever of the Year Award Goes to McIntyre

Dave McIntyre was a calming influence out of the MSL Baltimore Bullets bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 19-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2061.

The Anchorage, Alaska native won the award with 5 saves in 15 relief appearances, 22 strikeouts in 29 innings and a record of 2-1 to go with his 0.62 ERA.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Evan Gillespie of the MSL Boston Patriots finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Edilberto Dioquino of the MSL Boston Patriots finished third.
