Combs Crowned Batter of the Month in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 Dana Combs is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the MSL Boston catcher joined that select company when the USPL Mexican Summer League announced the results of August's voting. Combs totaled 14 hits, 2 walks, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 10 runs scored last month to put together a .424 batting average and .457 on-base percentage. For the season Combs has produced 28 hits in 93 at-bats for a .301 average with 8 home runs and gotten on base at a .356 clip. |
