Vásquez Garners PMSL Batter of the Month Award Friday, September 1st , 2062 Juan Vásquez put together a good August to earn the USPL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to MSL Hollywood officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Shredders shortstop posted a .419 batting average with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year, Vásquez has collected a .330 batting average to date with 58 hits in 176 at-bats, 30 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 27 times. He has played in 44 games. |
