MSL Long Island's Salazar Acclaimed Best SMSL Hitter Thursday, June 1st , 2062 When it came to hitting the baseball, Sergio Salazar had few USSL Mexican Summer League peers in May. The third baseman for MSL Long Island mauled opposing pitchers for a .375 batting average and was voted the league's best batter for the month. He finished with some strong stats: 6 home runs, 13 RBIs, 10 runs scored, 6 walks and a .444 on-base percentage. |
