Wells Top SMSL Starter in May Friday, June 1st , 2063 May's premier pitcher was Peter Wells of MSL Panama City Piranhas. He pulverized USSL Mexican Summer League hitters all month long and picked up the Pitcher of the Month award. The Piranhas star hurler fashioned a 3-0 record en route to the honor. He had 20 strikeouts in 29.1 innings and compiled a 1.23 ERA. Other clubs hit .230 against him. |
