MSL Athletic Club KC Loses Esteban Rodríguez for Season Sunday, June 2nd , 2058 Esteban Rodríguez of the U-18 just might have to call it quits for the season. The 17-year-old MSL Athletic Club KC starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds recently at MSL ACKC Ballpark. Rodríguez suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The U-18 medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 11-12 months. Checking out his stats for the season, Rodríguez has racked up 1 win and 1 loss in 5 starts, posted a 6.75 ERA, and struck out 17 batters in 20 innings. |
