Martin Earns SMSL's Best Pitcher Honor Thursday, July 1st , 2060 Robert Martin took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the USSL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Month award for June. The 19-year-old Kingfishers starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 0 starts. This month he fanned 32 batters in 26.2 innings and compiled a 1.35 ERA. |
