Guo-ning Chuko Injured, Out for Season Wednesday, July 12th , 2062 MSL Vancouver shortstop Guo-ning Chuko could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn back muscle. He exited yesterday's MSL Echo Park game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Chuko would be out 5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This season, Chuko is batting .198 with 1 home run. He has scored 6 runs and driven in 7. |
