USSL Mexican Summer League Picks Top Player Monday, July 18th , 2061 MSL Detroit Elite fans are celebrating Steve Everett's selection as USSL Mexican Summer League Player of the Week. Everett put up some serious numbers over the past seven days as he cracked 6 hits in 14 at-bats. The 18-year-old catcher hit .429, drove in 5 runs, scored 2 times and hit 2 home runs. For the season, Everett is hitting .339, batted in 26 runs with 8 home runs and 14 runs scored. |
