Hitting Streak Still Alive for Bos Saturday, July 30th , 2061 The MSL Memphis Mockingbirds fell to the MSL Philadelphia Liberty in MSL Memphis Ballpark, even as 18-year-old shortstop Anthon Bos upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Bos finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Mockingbirds from dropping the 3-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Bos. Anthon Bos grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. During the current season Bos is batting at a .336 clip with 3 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 31 times. |
