MSL Vancouver's Lestof Bags SMSL Batting Award Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 Christovão Lestof put together a good July to earn the USSL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to MSL Vancouver officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Grey Wolves right fielder posted a .385 batting average with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This season, Lestof is swinging the bat at a .338 rate with 50 hits in 148 at-bats. To date he has hit 12 home runs, scored 25 runs and driven in 35. |
