Piranhas Wells Named SMSL's Best Pitcher Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 There was nobody finer on the mound in July and Peter Wells cruised to the USSL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Month award today. He was 3-1 with a 1.33 ERA while piling up 23 strikeouts in 27 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .239 batting average. Over the season Wells has thrown 81 innings and dished out 62 strikeouts with a 8-3 mark and a 1.56 ERA. |
