Ishii Sticks It to SMSL Pitchers Monday, August 13th , 2063 When Masujiro Ishii stepped into the batter's box, he meant business. His outstanding play this week has netted the MSL Long Island catcher the well-deserved USSL Mexican Summer League Player of the Week Award. Playing in 3 games he lashed out a .500 average with 6 hits, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In the current season, Ishii has put up a .320 batting average with 49 hits, 10 home runs, 28 RBI and scored 27 runs. |
