Miller Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Wednesday, July 30th , 2059 The MSL Philadelphia Liberty fell to the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves in MSL Vancouver Ballpark, even as 19-year-old right fielder Jesse Miller upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Miller finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Liberty from dropping the 2-0 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Miller. Jesse Miller flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. This year, Miller is hitting .399 with 59 hits, 12 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 45 runs. |
