Valdés Tags Lakers for 5 Hits Saturday, August 25th , 2063 Manny Valdés got the glory and the headlines, but the MSL Echo Park Lakers left with the win. The MSL Buffalo first baseman easily handled the Lakers pitching, going 5-for-6, but his MSL Buffalo White Walkers came out on the short end of the 10-8 score. Valdés told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Manny Valdés struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
