Bos Hitless, Streak Ends at 28 Thursday, August 25th , 2061 The MSL Las Vegas Flamingos clamped down on Anthon Bos and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 28 straight games, but it didn't keep the Mockingbirds from winning. MSL Memphis downed the Flamingos, 4-1. "It was bound to happen," Bos said with a shrug after the game. Bos is batting at a .332 pace this season, picking up 63 hits in 190 at-bats with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
