Veeneman SMSL's #1 Pitcher in August Saturday, September 1st , 2063 The USSL Mexican Summer League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award for August. It went to Barend Veeneman of MSL Memphis for his outstanding 3-0 record and 0.75 ERA. Veeneman also chalked up 3 starts, 24 innings and 23 strikeouts. To date this season, Veeneman has registered 15 starts, 8-3 won-lost mark, 2.29 ERA, 106 IP, 82 strikeouts and 29 walks. Opposing teams have hit .238 against him. |
