MSL Pittsburgh's Rivers Will Miss Season Saturday, August 7th , 2060 A blow for Trey Rivers today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a torn back muscle. Rivers suffered the injury making a defensive play. Although officials from the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Rivers's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year, Rivers has hit at a .340 clip with 51 hits, 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
