Big Bang! 3 HR for MSL Cape Coral's Pae Sunday, May 28th , 2062 MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes catcher Dae-hyung Pae sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the MSL Kingston Ponies, Pae told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from Pae pushed the Hurricanes past the Ponies, 13-5. To go along with the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Pae told reporters after the game. Dae-hyung Pae hit a solo-shot off Anastasio Valenzuela in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Juan López in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Ernesto Trejo in the 9th. For the year, Pae is batting .380 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
