Elovsky Stymies Battery Sunday, June 10th , 2063 The MSL Charleston Battery struggled at the plate against Dirty Reds hurler Yurik Elovsky, who shackled them on 6 hits while hurling a complete-game 7-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Battery skipper António Díaz in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Elovsky finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," MSL Dayton manager Gabriel Rentería said. "Yurik made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively." This year, Elovsky has collected 1 save.
