Srskic Hit Streak Soars to 25 Games Saturday, June 24th , 2062 The MSL Buckhead Bowties stopped the MSL Kingston Ponies, 3-2, and Sinisa Srskic collected a base hit yet again. The MSL Buckhead catcher finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Srskic told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Sinisa Srskic struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Gabe Bailey in the 4th, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. In 22 games this season, Srskic is batting .435 with 40 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 25 runs and driven in 22. |
