González Grabs 3MSL Best Batter Award for August Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 For the month of August, Cristo González of the MSL Buckhead Bowties has really worn out the sweet spot on his bat. He has assaulted, used and abused M3L Mexican Summer League pitchers to the tune of a .357 batting average and was honored as the hottest hitter of the month today. González went 15 for 42 last month with no walks. The third baseman tallied 5 home runs, 15 RBIs, 8 runs scored and compiled a .349 on-base percentage. González is currently batting .206 with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 189 at-bats. |
