MSL Echo Park Loses Dermot Bibby for Season Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 The season is ending on a bad note for Dermot Bibby, starting pitcher for the MSL Echo Park Lakers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bibby was hurt against the MSL Charleston Battery while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 11 months. This year Bibby has a 4-3 mark in 8 starts with a 3.78 ERA. He has given up 45 hits in 52.1 innings, struck out 51 and issued 28 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .221 batting average against him. |
