Sato Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, September 1st , 2060 Yoshimi Sato's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-4 in his team's 11-2 triumph over the MSL D.C. Divided at MSL D.C. Ballpark. The 19-year-old catcher has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Dirty Reds. Yoshimi Sato grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Octávio Gutiérrez in the 6th and hit a sac fly in the 8th. So far in 2060 Sato is batting .382 with 11 home runs, 24 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 152 at-bats and a .449 OBP. |
