Arturo Hernández Nabs Prestigious Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, September 17th , 2062 M3L Mexican Summer League hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2062 season when the MSL Buckhead manager wrote "Arturo Hernández" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 6-0 mark and 1.49 ERA in 14 starts, tossed 72.1 innings, fanned 69 and held opposing teams to a .228 average. For his superb season Hernández was today named the 3MSL Pitcher of the Year Award winner. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Cipriano Moya of the MSL Detroit Rock City finished second in voting, while Gabe Bailey of the MSL Kingston Ponies finished third with 1 first place vote.
