3MSL Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Saturday, September 15th , 2063 José Gonzáles was a calming influence out of the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 19-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2063. The Santa Fé, Cuba native won the award with 8 saves in 13 relief appearances, 17 strikeouts in 27.2 innings and a record of 2-0 to go with his 1.63 ERA. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. José Gómez of the MSL Oakland Oaks finished second in voting, while Hong-chang Sam of the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third.
