Sunday, September 18th , 2061
The manager of the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes said he thinks José Flores is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2061 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the M3L Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .429 batting average and a .482 on-base percentage this year. In 46 games he piled up 84 hits, 17 doubles, 1 triple, 20 home runs, 48 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Richie Rivera of the MSL Charleston Battery finished second in voting, while Carlton Wilson of the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third.
