Alkira Gone for Season in MSL St. Louis Tuesday, May 17th , 2061 The doctors have spoken and Moeaktola Alkira of the MSL St. Louis Coeur didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Alkira sustained his season-ending injury during the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves game yesterday at MSL Vancouver Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the MSL St. Louis medical staff reported Alkira had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months. |
