Loss to Hurricanes Extends Detroit Losing Streak
With first baseman Kun P'aeng leading the charge, the Cape Coral Hurricanes defeated the Detroit Rock City, 5-2, at Factory of Sadness. P'aeng was 3-3 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Mark Smith. Detroit, with the loss, is 1-8.

P'aeng had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 fastball from José Martínez, he banged a 2-run triple to left-center, giving the Hurricanes a 4-2 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for P'aeng.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Detroit manager Kyle Salow.
