Bullets Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dirty Reds
The Baltimore Bullets outlasted the Dayton Dirty Reds, 10-3, in 11 innings. Sam Allen played a key role, going 3-for-5 for Baltimore. Baltimore reliever Doug Morgan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. David Adelabu absorbed the loss. Baltimore sits at 8-5 in the early going.

Baltimore used a timely hit from Carlos Gracía to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bullets ahead, 4-3. It might've been his only hit, but it did the trick.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Allen.
