Leviathan Slap 2-1 Loss on Echo Park
|
In a tight tilt between the Nova Scotia Leviathan and the Echo Park Lakers, Mochihito Sato was the deciding factor. The Nova Scotia left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Sato, the winner, moves to 2-3. He threw 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. Martín Cedeño recorded the save, his 7th.
Efren Cereza, who is tied for 7th in the 3L in doubles with 9, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cereza contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Nova Scotia up, 2-0.
