Lighthouse Roll to 9-2 Win Over Dirty Reds
The Long Island Lighthouse picked up a win at The Lighthouse, knocking off the Dayton Dirty Reds, 9-2. Starting pitcher Anthony Hines played a key role in the triumph. The Lighthouse now have a record of 18-13 with the win over Dayton.

Duke Hoban had a big bases-clearing double for the Lighthouse in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Long Island leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Jim Hunter, who finished 3rd in the 3L in ERA with 2.43 last year, and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lighthouse ahead, 5-1.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Hoban.
