Long Island starter Chan-seok Yi turned in a competent performance at The Lighthouse as the Lighthouse beat the Dayton Dirty Reds, 7-6. Long Island pitcher Clancy Turner got the win, upping his record to 1-2. Mike Carney got the loss. At 20-13, the Lighthouse claim third place in the Third League.

Michael White was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lighthouse shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Now that's my kind of ending," said a smiling White.
