Butler Top-Notch as Grey Wolves Stop Lighthouse, 6-0
|
Vancouver Grey Wolves starter Pat Butler kept the Long Island Lighthouse hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. Vancouver, at 24-11, occupies first place in the Third League.
The 39-year-old Butler turned in a performance that had his younger teammates taking notes. Butler rang up 3 strikeouts and held the Lighthouse to 2 hits over 7 innings. Butler is now 6-0 on the year with 30 strikeouts.
