The 2062 season did not get off to quite the start the Hamilton Thunderbirds had hoped, with an opening day loss to the Port Royal Disaster at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The final score was 6-3. Starting Pitcher Ron Woods was the top performer for Port Royal. In 5 innings, Woods surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run.
