Hot Chickens Lose 4-3 Decision to Florida
|
The Florida Men turned back the Nashville Hot Chickens, 4-3, at Psychos Ballpark. Bob Ryan, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 1-3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. John Bell, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The win leaves Florida with a record of 1-2.
Ryan had a crucial hit for Florida with two out in the bottom of the fourth. With Florida trailing 3-1, Ryan hit a bases-clearing triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Men ahead, 4-3.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ryan told a Florida Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
