The Milton Dogfish Head went home winners at Milton Corner Tavern, thanks in large part to starter Mike Nichols. Nichols stifled the Sunset District Fog, enabling Milton to grab the 3-1 win. Jorge Marroquín earned the save for Milton, his 3rd. Milton is off to a hot start at 3-1.

Milton took a 2-1 lead on Francisco Ferrer's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Ferrer hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sunset District pitcher Ed Jordan visibly frustrated.

"Mike pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Milton manager Brian Burt.
