Hialeah and Plymouth duked it out and the Dodos came out victorious.

Led by Jeff Huffman, the Hialeah Dodos downed the Plymouth Rocks, 4-1. Huffman went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dodos. The winner was Melis Ooyendijk, who threw 110 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. Ric Nelson earned the save for Hialeah, his 3rd.

In the first inning, Huffman had a 2-run home run for Hialeah. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Dodos on top, 2-0.

"Makes our job easier," said Huffman, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
