Pedro Farga had a good game, but he could not keep the Vermont Lake Monsters from falling, 5-3, to the Florida Men at Monster Field. The Vermont third baseman was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Albert De Jesús earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. The win has Florida at 4-2.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 26-year old second baseman Justin Allen. Allen had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Men ahead, 5-3. For the game, Allen had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
