The Hamilton Thunderbirds took Laionela Pualani's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The final score had Hamilton getting past the Buzz, 4-3, in 11 innings. Pualani over 6 innings allowed no runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5. Hamilton is now 4-5.
The clutch hit was provided by Bob Wright. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Iwan Vroom in the bottom of the 11th.
