In a tight contest at Psychos Ballpark, the Pawnee ParksNRec edged the Florida Men by the score of 8-7. Pawnee shortstop Neil Pippy, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Picking up his 3rd save was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Alejandro Quintana. The win has Pawnee at 7-2.

Pawnee used the timely hitting of Tim Blevins to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the ParksNRec on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"It's not about individual awards," Blevins told a Pawnee Herald reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
