Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Florida Men and Norfolk Pajaritos.

The Florida Men beat the Norfolk Pajaritos by a score of 4-3. Florida center fielder Shannon Miller deserved the lion's share of the credit. Miller went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Men. With the win, Florida lifts its record to 7-4.

Tied up with the Pajaritos in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Men got a boost from catcher Rick Robertson. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Robertson saw a 2-2 sinker from Danny Hockey and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Florida on top, 4-3.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Florida manager Caetano Alfena.
