The Monongahela Monsters racked up a win at Timber Hawks Ballpark, bumping off the Sunset District Fog, 7-2. Lester Creed, who started for Monongahela, pitched effectively for his team. Creed, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 12, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. The win has Monongahela at 8-3.

Monongahela got a big at-bat from Lakewood, New Jersey native Daniel Abercromby, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Monsters ahead, 3-0.
