The Calgary Lynx electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.
The Calgary Lynx picked up a win at Lynx Stadium, taking down the Pawnee ParksNRec, 6-4, in 12 innings. On the mound for Calgary was right-hander Kjeld Burger. He played a central role in the triumph. Randall Larkin snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 2.1 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season.
The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the 12th. With Calgary trailing 4-3, Lac Leman delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Alejandro Quintana for a 3-run home run. Ballgame.
