The Plymouth Rocks easily defeated the Florida Men, 13-2, at Psychos Ballpark, with shortstop Wallace Martin a main contributor to the win. He went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Plymouth. The win went to Pedro Soto in relief, making him now 1-1. John Bell took the loss for Florida. Plymouth is now 5-7.

Plymouth used a big swing from Gabriel Turner to get the win. The right fielder walloped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rocks up, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Caetano Alfena.
